Since I was a child, I had a strong passion for computer science, and during middle school, I started to study web development languages in my free time. During high school I partecipated in a local competition for innovative digital ideas with an innovative e-learning platform concept, and I won a special prize. This gave me the strong energy I needed to proceed with my computer science studies.

In 2019, I moved in Parma, 800km from my family, where I graduated in 2022 in computer science. During these 3 years I did exams regarding the fundamentals of computer science, for example, C++ and Java object oriented programming, algorithms and data structures, databases, networking and cloud, software engineering and also an exam regarding High Performance Computing on which my bachelor's thesis was based.

In particular, I had the opportunity to contribute to the research of my supervisor in the bioinformatic field, starting from a Java and Python project that was producing correct results but in a long time, so I had to develop an analogus algorithm in C++ using a parallel programming library called OpenMP. Doing this I developed an high scalable software and got same results but in much less time based on the number of CPU cores available.

Moreover, starting from the second year of the bachelor's degree, I decided to combine university education with professional training, and this was possible thanks to a web agency in Parma that believed in me and invested in my education, allowing me to collaborate with a senior developer so that I could acquire new skills and then work independently on company projects.

In 2022, I moved in Milan, and for my master's degree, I chose a custom path with exams that follow my interests in computer science. For example, I did exams regarding cyberisk management, Secure Service-oriented Architecturese, software security, biometric systems, oracle database programming, distributed systems and artificial intelligence.

During these two years, I have had the opportunity to develop various practical projects, both for some exams and for other occasions. For example, I joined CODELAB, an official university student group, within which I and some colleagues had the opportunity to participate in a global hackathon organized by the Algorand Foundation, winning the first prize and special university prize in the interoperability category. We worked together to propose an innovative Web3 platform for integrate the Algorand blockchain with other blockchain environment, using a stack of technologies that include React, Python, smart contract development in PyTeal, Docker and git.

For my master's thesis, I worked on an analysis of the limitations of security tools in complex microservice architectures in order to define a new continuous software assurance system.

My future plans are to achieve a senior position with more responsibilities and greater expertise in software design and development in different programming languages. My goal is to verticalize myself in backend development and everything related to cloud native development, thus improving my hard skills in this area and my soft skills regarding communication, time management and organization.
